Hear From Our Real Hair Transplant Patient: Andrew

When Andrew first visited our office (on the recommendation of a friend who was a previous patient of ours), he had recently started to notice the early signs of hair loss and wanted to take a proactive approach to his hair health. After consulting with our experts, Andrew was interested in pursuing a Follicular Unit Extraction hair transplant at our office.

“I was recommended to KA Hair Aesthetics by a close friend who had several treatments done by them. He was almost completely bald on the top of his head and now has achieved a very full, natural looking head of hair with no patches or thin areas on the back of his head where they took the grafts. I still had a very full head of hair, however I have always had a very deep widow’s peak and my hairline had been slowly receding over the years. (I’m currently 30 years old.)

The two medical professionals who did my procedure were incredibly nice and very informative about the procedure and what to expect from my recovery. The process took about 5 hours total and I experienced very little if any pain or discomfort. I actually slept for most of the procedure. They were very mindful of my comfort level and checked in frequently to see if I was feeling anything in the numbed areas. After the procedure was over they provided me with everything I needed for care and recovery, including pain meds if I needed them.

I am currently 10 weeks post-procedure and have not noticed hair growth yet, however it can take 6-9 months to see results and up to a year for the full effect.
